Care guide and a note on colour<\/em>
\nAt Talking Walls, we work exclusively with natural fibres chosen for their character, texture and longevity. When treated with care, these materials only grow more beautiful over time.
\nPieces crafted from silk, linen, cashmere and wool deserve a gentle approach. These fibres are strong by nature, yet sensitive to heat, friction and harsh treatments. Always consult the care label inside your garment.
\nThese garments should not be machine washed. Hand wash only, in water up to 30\u00b0C, using a liquid detergent specifically formulated for wool and silk. Do not soak. Handle the fabric lightly \u2014 avoid rubbing or wringing \u2014 and allow it to air dry naturally, away from direct heat or sunlight. Steaming is preferred over ironing. If you are uncertain about caring for the piece at home, professional dry cleaning is recommended.<\/p>\n

Next to the stories of our walls, colours are our playground and an essential part of everything we create. We care deeply about them. Still, slight variations may occur between the colours you see in our campaign and lookbook images and the final piece you receive. Different fabrics, printing techniques and production runs can all influence how a colour comes to life.

\nBetween docks, concrete, and expensive apartments, a swan in Antwerp still managed to keep its composure.<\/p>\n

Discovered alongside a dock at the Eilandje, Antwerp\u2019s now en vogue harbour district, this weathered panel feels strangely peaceful against the constant movement surrounding it.
\nA swan glides through faded turquoise water beneath a pale sun, surrounded by reeds, clouds, and fragments of a landscape slowly dissolving into the surface itself.
\nAlmost na\u00efve. Almost dreamlike, the image sits somewhere between public signage, forgotten decoration, and accidental poetry. Moisture, rust, scratches, and time softened the original illustration until parts of it nearly disappeared completely. Which only improved it.
\nTurquoise greens, oxidised blues, faded whites, and washed-out yellows merge into a palette that feels both aquatic and industrial at once. Around it: bicycles, apartment blocks, traffic, markets, construction, passing conversations. Antwerp continuing exactly as Antwerp does.
\nAnd then suddenly, a swan. The contrast gives the image its charm. Fragile nature trapped inside an urban object already halfway eroded by the city itself. Decorative serenity surviving surprisingly well beside concrete, steel, and bad weather.
\nOn textile, the faded textures and softened colours created remarkable depth. The washed surfaces almost behaved like old pigments absorbed directly into the fabric.
\nA romantic landscape quietly surviving in one of the least romantic places
